Low Capital Investment and Manageable Monthly Fee
REDiSat Network is attracting attention from a variety of sectors including financial services, emergency services, system integrators, manufacturing and publishing.
As a REDiSat Network reseller, you sell the service and hardware directly to your customer, the end user.
Depending on the number of sites you have signed, you keep a percentage of each site’s recurring and usage fees.
How REDiSat Network Helps Your Customers
By combining the power and dependability of the SES satellite fleet with our world-class terrestrial facilities, SES AMERICOM created a dedicated emergency communications and disaster recovery solution. REDiSat Network provides the continental United States with an ever-ready satellite network.
Utilizing a model borrowed from the insurance industry, your customers pay their monthly subscription fee -- MSRP $250 per month -- to stay connected to the REDiSat Network. Your customers log in and out of the network as necessary in response to an emergency or other crisis, and pay additional variable rates, based on time or bandwidth, only when actually using the network.
The Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) located on site consists of a pre-aligned 1.2-meter Ku-band antenna with non-penetrating roof mount and optional quick-disconnect hardware, a Low Noise Block downconverter (LNB), a two-watt Block Up Converter (BUC) and a satellite modem.Typical usersThis product is designed for business/corporate and government use -- any industry in need of a dedicated emergency satellite communications network. REDiSat Network is not designed for full-time commercial traffic, but rather is a contingency plan with complete terrestrial and space assets designed to support critical communications when other conventional mechanisms are impaired.
Once you sign a reseller contract, SES AMERICOM provides you with one complete set of hardware to set up a demonstration unit.
REDiSat combines satellite and IP technologies to deliver a flexible and efficient communications solution. It uses dedicated and on-demand Ku-band capacity with a Time Division Multiplexed (TDM) / Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) architecture, enabling multiple users to share a pool of dedicated bandwidth.
Our Network Management Center (NMC) is operated by experienced personnel dedicated 24x7 to the monitoring and control of our network. They specialize in providing professional assistance with your communications needs.
