    Jon Russo was selected by AMERICOM to create and bring to market the company's emerging portfolio of video, data and voice services for the commercial and federal sectors. He comes to AMERICOM from broadband Internet services company iPass Inc., where as vice president of marketing, he transitioned the company from a pre-IPO provider of a single connectivity service into a publicly traded provider of multiple mobility services catering to the world's largest enterprises. iPass grew from $50 million to $200 million in annual revenue during his four year tenure. Previously, Mr. Russo was vice president of data and Internet marketing for Frontier Communications, and vice president of marketing for GlobalCenter, the web hosting start-up acquired by Frontier that enabled major Internet brands like Yahoo! and Google to deliver content to end-users around the world.

    A former active duty U.S. Army telecommunications officer, Mr. Russo graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in Finance and completed a master's degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
