    Context:

    Maintain, expand, create and win new business with key accounts primarily Air Force and other military space community customers. Manage Air Force programs. Represent AGS to the military space community.


    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 15 years of government experience.
    • Successful at relationship building, customer centric, familiar with the government procurement process, and knowledgeable in reference to all satellite communications systems and components.
    • BA or BS degree. Familiarity with RF technology or combination of post-secondary education and military experience.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Have a global vision of the business.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
    • Perform in an ethical manner at all times.
    • Develop challenging goals.
    • Focus on achieving stated goals.
    • Ability to foster long-term customer relationships.
    • Strategic thinker.
    • Effective oral and written communications.
    • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Business development including capture and proposal preparation.
    • Customer relationship and program management.
    • Represent AGS in policy discussions and at fora such as the MAWG.
