The Project Manager, Managed Services, fulfills contractual requirements for media and data customers. Acts as a liaison to the Technical Operations Center to jointly track and address service issues and overall system improvement projects.

- Skilled in satellite communications and terrestrial systems requirements and terrestrial systems service implementation
and customer service. In depth knowledge of earth station equipment and terrestrial systems.
- 10+ years in implementing hybrid networks---terrestrial, wireless, media, satellite and fiber.
- Technical or non-technical degree
- Project Management experience
- Knowledge and experience in provision and service of IP-based satellite and terrestrial data and video for full-time and occasional use networks. Familiar with iDirect, Surfbeam, DVB-H and interest and skill in adapting emerging platforms and new technology.
- Maintain and monitor budget within the scope of initiatives and produce status reports.
- Identify, request and manage staff and other resources to implement projects.
- Ability to quickly adopt internal work processes to enable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) for Siebel and SAP projects to facilitate sales.
- Project and Procurement management experience.
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment with emphasis on follow-through with customer requirements.
- Proficient in delivering crisp presentations and strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software
- US citizen or Permanent Residency required.
- Formulate and manage service projects to fulfill contractual requirements of media and data customers:
- Create and execute project plans to meet contractual and budget requirements
- Service implementation and post sales Customer Service
- Direct and coordinate project activities and staff
- Communicate regularly with the sales engineers and accoutn managers to define contractual project requirements, schedules, customer expectations and scope of work.
- Accountability for technical data integrity for Managed Services Contracts in AMERICOM and SES affiliates’ business systems.
- Act as the sales liaison to the Technical Operations Center and System Engineering group to jointly track and address platform-related service tickets, process and data improvements and overall system improvement projects
- Assist in the development of methods and procedures for implementing programs and projects to meet customer requirements.
- Perform technical operations support; recommend improvement changes to existing equipment, provides trouble shooting instructions and procedures during circuit outages and/or degradation of service, collects and monitors monthly outage reports
- Metrics development (on what?), measurement, management and reporting (on what?)
- Travel to customer sites and earth stations
