The IP Prime Program Manager is responsible for managing the overall implementation effort of IP Prime customer orders ensuring on-time and within budget delivery. The Program Manager will also be the Point of Contact for both internal and external entities relating to IP Prime implementation activities.
- At least 5 years experience in technical Program Management in the telecommunication/satellitecommunications field.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in technical field.
- Highly skilled program management and matrix managing others across internal and external business units.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.
- In depth understanding of the architecture of various platforms and products within SES Americom's portfolio.
- Excellent organizational, written and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate various types of integration tools and test equipment.
- Generating computer-aided drawings.
- Ability to operate various types of integration tools and test equipment.
- Ability to interpret and understand Link Budget Analysis (LBA's).
- Ability to interpret, analyze and create network communication diagrams.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- Perform assessment and cost analysis in preparation of implementing highly integrated satellite-based communications services via project plans. Responsible for managing program budget.
- Prepare or analyze cost analysis and supporting documents to include contract and design reviews.
- Act as Primary SES interface during implementation. Prepare and deliver implementation plans to management and customers.
- Ability to effectively matrix manage internal and external groups in the execution of programs. Responsible for on time delivery of programs.
- Manage the installation of communications equipment for IP Prime services. Responsible for continued process enhancements relating to implementation.
- Utilize a wide variety of applications software tools specific to Service Delivery. Responsible for managing 3rd party installation vendors.
