The HD Premier Sales Manager sells the distribution of MPEG-4 HDTV programming networks and services to telephone companies and other video services carriers across the US currently looking to supplement their MPEG-2 video channel lineup with an HD package.
- +3 years experience in media and entertainment sales, with particular preference for experience in the sale of programming to cable, satellite or telephone company operators.
- Bachelors Degree in equivalent field of study required.
- Excellent selling skills.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Ability to team and also work independently.
- Must have a passion for and strong interest in technology and ability to impart understanding to others.
- Strong interpersonal, communications and relationship management skills required.
- Proficient in delivering crisp presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Abiity to craft innovative packages for customers with diverse technical infrastructures and market needs.
- Extensive travel required
- US citizen or Permanent Resident required.
- Assume responsibility for prospecting customers and closing deals.
- Lead contract negotiations.
- Attend trade and regional events to increase visibility and promote services.
- Liaison with engineering and operations to ensure service deliverables.
- Maintain ongoing relationship with customer base.
