    CONTEXT:

    The Marketing Analysis Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Business Development and the Director of Sales, specifically in the areas of market and customer research, competitive analysis, and winning proposal campaign strategy development. The successful candidate will be a team player with potential to advance within the corporation.


    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business or related field.
    • 5-10 years experience working with commercial and/or military SATCOM systems.
    • DoD and/or other US Government Agency/department customer knowledge required.
    • Ability to conduct DoD/US Government market and competitor research and analyze/summarize results required.
    • Knowledge of US Government procurement processes and proposal development/review experience desired.
    • Experience with DoD or other US Government agency/department contracting/procurement/program management or defense contractor business development desired.
    • Excellent organizational and communications skills (both oral and written).
    • SECRET Security Clearance
    • US Government or USG Contractor exposure required

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Determine and report customer market trends and forecasts, competitor positions in related markets, and potential new business pursuits.
    • Identify, analyze and anticipate market trends and competitor activities and understand their implications for new satellite communications systems development
    • Support capture planning and proposal development by creating customer and competitor capability assessments and analyzing their business pursuit efforts
    • Conduct daily reviews of trade publications, subscription services, and other information sources that define DoD and other US Government programs and business opportunities
    • Help define new business opportunities and capture new business in core and adjacent markets.
    • Help implement verifiable processes using appropriate metrics to measure and continuously improve organizational performance.
